Autumn is approaching and the evenings are growing steadily darker. The days can still be bright and warm, but as darkness falls, the cold and moisture creep in. Our extra wide wool blanket in 100% pure new wool keeps the night chill away, whether you are sleeping in a Viking tent, mountain tent or sitting in your favourite armchair on the balcony. Length two metres, width one metre. Weight approx. 1300 grams.

The production of our felted craft is made by Nordlys Viking in collaboration with small family businesses and women's groups from the vulnerable minority people Gorkhas in Nepal. The production helps to support the local economy in the poor western part of Nepal, with a focus on strengthening women's control over their own economy and enabling these women to work from home when the opportunity arises. No toxic chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. All colours are non-toxic and water-based. For the felting itself, only wool, warm water, soap and love are used.
