This ring is designed as an open spiral-shaped band around the finger. The ring has two mounted Amethysts in a deep purple colour. The brass is soft and flexible enough that the ring can be adjusted in size as needed.

All our brass jewellery is nickel- and cadmium-free, handmade by skilled craftsmen, and these also have a mounted semi-precious stone. Since the stones are all genuine, they also vary slightly in appearance - some with more shine, others with more detail.

Material: Brass and semi-precious stone.
Size: Adjustable. In the picture approx. 2 cm in diameter.
All Nordlys jewellery is nickel and cadmium-free. Brass today is a mixture of copper and zinc.
During the Viking Age, copper was mixed with tin in various proportions to achieve the same gold-like color that brass has.

Care

Brass and silver oxidize over time and darken in color. You can easily polish the jewellery with brass or silver polish. This can be purchased in most grocery stores.
