A so-called wasp bead, red with yellow spirals; the original was found on Björkö (Birka), Sweden. From the second half of the 8th century.

All of our historic glass beads are copies of originals from their respective time periods. Handmade using the same methods as the originals. The glass is melted and wound around a steel rod dipped in pipe clay. The bead is then decorated with more molten glass in various colors while the rod is slowly turned.

The price is per piece for the beads unless otherwise stated.
