Our small moon-shaped earrings were originally made using filigree technique, of which we then made detailed casts. They are handmade with beautiful, detailed patterns. This type of moon shape was common during the Viking Age in the eastern parts of the Baltic region. They can be chosen in two different finishes, one gold-coloured and the other silver-coloured.

Material: Brass
Size: Height incl. hook approx. 23mm, width 18mm
Silver-plated means that the surface of the jewelery has been silver coated with a thin layer of silver.
All Nordly's jewelery is nickel and cadmium free.
Today, brass is a mixture of copper and zinc. During the Viking Age, copper was mixed with tin in different proportions to get the same gold-like color that brass has.

Care

Silver oxidizes over time, you can easily polish the earrings with silver polish. This can be bought in most grocery stores.
